We All Deserve a Beautiful Home

This street art mural is located at 379 Gilmour Street in the Centretown neighborhood of Ottawa. Titled "We All Deserve a Beautiful Home: Renewing 379 Gilmour Street," the artwork was created in 2022 by Operation Come Home under the mentorship of artist Daniel Martelock as part of the city's Paint It Up youth program.

The mural is painted across a concrete block wall and an emergency exit door, transforming the urban surface into a bright turquoise underwater scene. The central focus of the artwork is a yellow and gray submarine equipped with orange periscopes and four white portholes, positioned along the bottom of the wall.
