OTTAWA SCHOOL OF ART’S COMMUNITY MURAL

This project, titled Illunaata (meaning "all together" in Inuktitut), is a painted celebration of both Canadian iconography and community spirit. To mark the important year of Canada's 150th anniversary, the Ottawa School of Art (OSA) collaborated with Ottawa 2017, Ottawa Community Housing, and the Embassy of Imagination. Their goal was to produce a collection of murals designed to be fully accessible, champion diversity, respect, and positivity, and embody the OSA's core principle: "Teaching Art to everyone," by sharing art with the community.
