Canadiana Block is a large-scale asphalt art installation located along Sparks Street, between Kent and Lyon streets, in downtown Ottawa. Unveiled in late June 2026 by the City of Ottawa and the Downtown Business Improvement Area, the project consists of 13 individual ground murals painted directly onto the pedestrian walkway. Each section represents one of Canada's ten provinces and three territories.
Titled Coast to Coast to Coast, the installation was created by artists Dan Bergeron and Gabriel Specter following a nationwide open call for submissions that received 28 proposals. The project was executed in technical collaboration with Bloomberg Associates as part of a municipal program focused on downtown revitalization, pedestrian safety, and public space enhancement.
