Tia Wong works across artistic disciplines, including graphic and web design, film, mural painting, and photography. Tia was born and raised in Toronto/Tkaronto (Dish with One Spoon wampum territory), where she began practicing fine arts and filmmaking. While getting her degree in public health and community services, Tia took up the fight against gender-based and sexual violence with fellow student organizers. Her activist and solidarity work has permeated her artistic practices – Tia’s graphic design work is particularly inspired by revolutionary art movements throughout history. Tia currently works and lives in Ottawa (unceded Algonquin territory).
